Fjordlab is the first laboratory in Norway to receive ISO 17025 accreditation for aggregate analysis
Jelsa, Norway – 28 October 2025
Fjordlab AS, an independent aggregate laboratory located at Mibau Stema Norway’s facility in Jelsa, has been officially accredited in accordance with the ISO 17025 standard – and is the first Norwegian laboratory to achieve the highest recognition of quality a laboratory can receive in physical and mechanical aggregate analysis. The accreditation marks an important milestone for both Fjordlab and the wider aggregates and minerals industry in Norway.
Fjordlab is established as a dedicated and independent unit within the Mibau Stema Group, offering high-quality testing and analysis services for customers in the asphalt, concrete, mineral, and aggregate industries, as well as the offshore sector. Equipped with modern technology and staffed by experienced professionals, the laboratory performs a variety of aggregate analyses, including geometric, mechanical, physical, and chemical properties.
