1. Information about the processing of your personal data

1.1 The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide information about how Fjordlab AS processes your personal data in connection with your having a customer relationship or other business-connection with the company.

1.2 We respect your integrity and protect the personal data about you that we process. All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Below we describe how we collect, process and share your personal data.

2 Which personal data will be processed

2.1 As a supplier or corporate contact we collect and handle the following personal data about you (your personal data):

•    Name
•    Which company or organisation you belong to
•    Email address
•    Postal address
•    Personal identity number for some companies and private customers in connection with credit information and delivery
•    Payment and account information in connection with credit information and delivery

2.2 We mainly receive personal data directly from you, from publicly available sources or registered via third parties in order to be able to provide you with relevant information.

3. For which purposes do we process your personal data?

3.1 We process your personal data for the following purposes:

1.    To maintain a business relationship with you, by registering you in our customer register system.
2.    To fulfil customer agreements we have entered into with you and to provide necessary information about products and deliveries.
3.    To be able to carry out customer surveys according to the ISO 9001 standard.
4.    To inform you via email about our products and services.
5.    To inform you via email about news, training, events and other corporate-related offers.

3.3 Access to your personal data is necessary to enter into and fulfil e.g. your customer agreement. If you do not provide your personal data to us, we will not be able to perform our obligations under the agreement.

4. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

4.1 The processing of your personal data for the purposes listed in section 3.1 above is based on that the processing is necessary for us to be able to fulfil our obligations according to the customer agreement with you as well as to comply with accounting law.

4.2 The legal basis for handling your personal data for the purpose is, with reference to the items in section 3.1, as follows:

1–2. Based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a business relationship with you.
3. Based on a legitimate interest in conducting customer surveys which are necessary and for our ISO-certification.
4–5. Based on our legitimate interest in informing about relevant news and marketing our products and services.

We have carried out a balancing of interests where we have judged that our legitimate interests outweigh your interest in not having your personal data processed for these purposes. You always have the right to object to this assessment. Read more about your rights below.

4.3 In some cases, e.g., when registering a personal identity number, the processing of your personal data is based on separate consent obtained from you.

5. Who has access to your customer data?

5.1 We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorised access, etc. The number of people who have access to your personal data is limited. Only persons at Fjordlab AS who need to process your personal data according to the purposes listed above have access.

5.2 We may share your personal data with other companies within the Heidelberg Materials-group and Mibau Stema Group in order to be able to send relevant information to you in accordance with section 4.

5.3 We may also share your personal data with suppliers and partners who perform services on our behalf, e.g., IT systems solutions for information dispatch or customer portals. We enter into data-processor agreements with all suppliers who process personal data for our customers and contact persons on our behalf.

5.4 Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.

6. How long do we store your personal data?

Your personal data will only be stored as long as necessary based on the purpose for which they were collected and as long as it is permitted or required by local legislation. The company regularly deletes personal data after 2 years if there has been no contact between the parties, provided the storage is not required by law.

7. What rights do you have?

7.1 Fjordlab AS, organisation number 930 384 089 MVA, with address Jelsavegen 512, 4234 Jelsa and email info@fjord-lab.com  is the data controller for processing your personal data. This means we are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed correctly and in accordance with applicable legislation.

7.2 You have the right to know which personal data we process about you, and you may request a copy of the personal data that is processed. You have the right to require that incorrect or incomplete personal data be corrected, and in certain cases you may require that we delete your personal data. If you have given specific consent to certain personal data processing, you always have the right to withdraw your consent. You can do this via the contact details listed in section 7.1. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data and to require that the processing of your personal data is restricted. Please note that limiting or deleting your personal data may mean that we cannot fulfil our obligations under the customer agreement. You also have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly-used and machine-readable format and transfer these to another data-controller.
